No. The DM comes from your account, in your words, with your link. The public reply under their comment, like "Sent you a DM 💌", is yours to edit too, so everything sounds like you.
It depends on the follower's own account, mainly whether it's public or private, so some DMs can land in Message Requests. Instagram decides this, not Happilee. Adding "check your DMs" to your caption helps people find it.
